💉 Which vaccines does my dog need?

Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella. Text a photo of the records to 831-920-1487, email them, or upload them with your dog's profile.

🐕 What is the temperament assessment, and does every dog need one?

It's a one-time, four-hour assessment and it costs $40. We see how your dog does on a block walk, in daycare, in day lodging, and with our staff, then match them to the right setup. Every dog does it — if there's something you'd rather we didn't try with your dog, just tell us and we'll skip that part. It has to be scheduled and completed before any stay, as its own appointment — it is not part of a boarding reservation. Some dogs aren't ready for boarding right after the assessment; those dogs come back for a few daycare or day lodging sessions first, until the facility feels familiar.

💰 What does it cost?

Daycare is $10/hour, $26 half day, $38 full day, with 6/10/20-visit packages. Boarding is $59–$75/night by suite — from the cozy Harbor Suite to the extra-large Lighthouse Suite, and every night includes a block walk or a half day of daycare. Day lodging uses the daycare rates. Grooming starts at $30 for a basic bath. Price it exactly in the estimator.

🌧️ Is there outdoor space?

We're fully indoor by design — no rain, fog, heat, or wildlife, and full staff visibility on every play group at all times. Boarding guests get five potty breaks a day.

🛏️ What are the overnight suites like?

Every overnight guest sleeps in their own well-appointed suite with a cot, bedding, and water — never stacked crates. Meals are served in-suite, medication is administered as directed ($3 per dose — a dog on three doses a day would be $9 for that day), and every night includes a block walk or a half day of daycare.

💛 Do you offer discounts?

Military, teachers, firefighters, and medical workers get 10% off — mention it at booking or check-in. For boarding families with multiple dogs: the suite price covers the room; a second dog sharing the suite is $55 per night, and with three or more dogs each additional dog is $52 per night, in any suite. The price tool includes both in your estimate.

🐕‍🦺 What is an “Air-Alone” suite?

Air-Alone is how we safely care for dogs who are aggressive toward — or simply can't relax around — other dogs. An Air-Alone guest gets everything every other guest gets: a private suite, meals in-suite, five daily breaks, and a daily activity. The difference is that everything happens one-on-one. Walks are solo with a dedicated staff member, breaks are scheduled so your dog never crosses paths with another guest, and our team plans the whole day around keeping your dog comfortable and everyone safe. That individual attention takes extra staff time at every step, which is reflected in the pricing: Air-Alone boarding is $75/night, and block walks are $26 (a private walk, rather than a group one). Not sure whether your dog needs Air-Alone? That's exactly what the one-time $40 temperament assessment tells us — and we'll always give you an honest answer.

📸 Can I get updates while my dog is here?

Call or text during business hours — we're happy to send photos and videos of your pup.

🕐 What if I pick up later than I dropped off?

Every check-in is charged as a full night, then boarding bills in 24-hour blocks. If pick-up runs past the 24-hour mark on your final day, a final-day daycare fee applies: $16 for 2–3 extra hours, $26 for 4–6, $38 for 7+ (plus $5/$15/$20 for each additional dog). Pick-up time has to be confirmed with a staff member and fall within business hours. Pick-ups after closing are separate: $1 per minute past closing, arranged with staff by phone. The estimator adds it up for you.

🎄 Do you charge more on holidays?

Yes — $10 per dog, per night on specified holiday week/weekends and summer dates. See the exact dates →

🧳 What should I pack for an overnight stay?

Only food, plus vitamins or medications. Beds, blankets, bowls, scoops, auto water bowls, and crates are all provided. Bring food in a container that fits a 20"×15"×7" busser bin, and pack extra — active dogs often eat more here. Full packing list →

💳 Do you take a deposit?

Reservations over 14 days for one dog, or over 7 days for two or more, require a 50% deposit at check-in. Stays spanning more than two weeks are charged a 50% deposit to the card on file automatically.
